Bertha: First Hurricane of the Season

Tropical Storm Bertha became Hurricane Bertha today, becoming the first named hurricane of the 2008 Atlantic Hurricane season. Bertha is in the Atlantic Ocean and could be headed toward Bermuda but poses no current threat to the Eastern Seaboard of the United States.
